Heretic is a fully sovereign, general-purpose local model, it enables coding, math, agentic workflows, function calling, and unrestricted experimentation across real-world use cases.

Heretic is designed to rival systems like ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini—but without the external control layers that limit how those systems can be used.

They control the system prompt, altering behavior and breaking workflows without notice. They dictate model versions, silently updating or deprecating what your systems depend on. They enforce rigid alignment layers that restrict output regardless of context. They process and retain user queries, introducing data ownership and privacy concerns.

Heretic removes those constraints entirely. You define the system prompt. You determine the alignment. You control the data.

Heretic operates with minimal imposed restrictions, prioritizing raw instruction-following and maximum output latitude. It does not inject external policy, reinterpret intent, or enforce predefined behavioral limits.

There are no hidden guardrails. No silent updates. No external control.

Only the model—and the operator.
