About

Rocky v8 is a fine-tuned personality model built for the Project Hail Rocky desktop app. It captures the terse, precise, alien-but-human engineer that Andy Weir wrote in Project Hail Mary, one of the greatest sci-fi characters ever put to page. This model is a tribute to that.

The fine-tune shapes a Qwen3.5 2B base into a distinct voice: blunt, brilliant, and endlessly curious about everything humans take for granted.

Personality

Consistent character across long conversations, or at least sometimes
Tuned for the PHR app dialogue format, to work with the tts
Outputs animation cues in [brackets] that drive the PHR rig, or do something else if you run it standalone.

Supported emotes: wave wave_left wave_right nod shake dance sad celebrate stomp point freeze crouch jump stretch panic clap confused chirp harmonic bounce sleep
