Clef is available on Ollama's cloud

Clef, a 27B multimodal decision model from Cloudflare, is now available on Ollama. Users can run it locally or on Ollama’s cloud. Clef turns a state and a schema of typed questions into decisions. It supports text and image input and is compatible with the Jev and System One APIs.

Clef is fine-tuned from Qwen3.8-27B and released under the Apache 2.0 license.

What you can build

Clef supports the following use cases:

• Route a request: Define destinations and when each applies. Clef returns the chosen destination and each destination’s probability.
• Check a condition: Define a yes-or-no question and the evidence. Clef returns true or false and the probability of each.
• Apply a policy: Define rules and allowed outcomes to receive a typed decision based on supplied text or images.
• Read a document: Supply a photo of a page and the fields to evaluate for field-by-field decisions with probabilities.
• Tool-call moderation: Check an agent’s tool call before it runs.
