Fine-tuned on curated datasets including: - Stack Overflow Q&A - GitHub code repositories - Programming documentation - Real-world debugging scenarios
Understands and responds to: - Popular frameworks in Indian tech (Django, React, Spring Boot) - Common deployment scenarios (AWS, GCP, Azure) - Local coding practices and conventions - Regional tech stack preferences
Excels at: - Writing production-ready code snippets - Explaining complex algorithms simply - Debugging common errors - Suggesting performance optimizations
BharatBuddy is packaged for Ollama so you can:
- Pull it and run locally: ollama pull your-namespace/bharatbuddy
- Serve it securely on your private Ollama instance
- Share with the community via ollama push
# Pull the model
ollama pull bharatbuddy
# Run interactive session
ollama run bharatbuddy
# Example query
ollama run bharatbuddy "How do I implement a REST API in Flask?"
import requests
response = requests.post('http://localhost:11434/api/generate',
json={
'model': 'bharatbuddy',
'prompt': 'Explain the difference between list and tuple in Python',
'stream': False
})
print(response.json()['response'])
// Node.js example
const response = await fetch('http://localhost:11434/api/generate', {
method: 'POST',
body: JSON.stringify({
model: 'bharatbuddy',
prompt: 'How to handle async/await in JavaScript?'
})
});
const data = await response.json();
console.log(data.response);
| Component | Minimum | Recommended |
|---|---|---|
| GPU | GTX 1660 (6GB) | RTX 4060 (8GB) or better |
| RAM | 8GB | 16GB+ |
| Storage | 4GB | 10GB+ |
| OS | Linux, Windows 10+, macOS | Ubuntu 22.04+ |
| CUDA | 11.0+ | 12.0+ |
BharatBuddy can run on CPU, but expect: - 3-5x slower inference - 16GB+ RAM recommended - Best for occasional queries

✅ "Explain the SOLID principles with Python examples"
✅ "What's causing this IndexError in my code?"
✅ "Generate a JWT authentication middleware in Express"
✅ "How to optimize this SQL query for better performance?"
✅ "Difference between Redux and Context API in React"
